Updates in Progress


The current build of the game is pretty rough, it was our first game jam submission and we bit off just a bit more than we could chew. But we got a prototype in, and we're looking at that as a victory!

We thought there was a bit of charm hiding under the rough edges though, so rather than immediately moving on to another project, we decided to put a little more work in and see what we can do.

Since then, we've had a lot of work to do to make the game better, more enjoyable, and most of all more stable. We're hoping to have a fully playable beta build of the game up by the end of September that we can share with everyone.

For now, a few of the things we've been working on include:

  • General game stability (preventing crashing)
  • Graphical bugs
  • Improved player feedback
  • Additional audio
  • New dimensions to explore
  • Game balance
  • Improved introduction and outro

We plan to include a tutorial sequence as well as some non-combat rooms to improve the pacing and storytelling, but those may have to wait for a future update.
